What time does the school day begin and end?

 

  • Please note new school hours for 2022-2023! School will begin at 8:00 am. Students arriving after 8:00 am will be considered tardy and need to pick up a tardy slip from the front office BEFORE going to their classroom.  Pick up on the white top is 3:15 pm.  Please pick up your children in a timely manner as many teachers need to return to their classrooms for clean-up and/or tutoring.

Can my student ride the bus to or from Mockingbird? 

Yes!  Any Mockingbird student can ride the bus!  Please click HERE to check out Mockingbird ES bus routes.  For further information or if you have any questions/concerns, please reach out to Student Transportation Service Call Center at (972) 925-4BUS (4287).   

 

How do I schedule a tour of Mockingbird? 

Guided group tours take place the first Wednesday of each month beginning in September, and continue through May (no summer tours).   No appointment necessary, but please register at the front desk upon arrival.  Tours start at 9:30 a.m.   For more information, please email Kimberly Bocell at KimberlyBocell@steedlawfirm.com.  Specific dates for tours can be found on our Main School Calendar.
