Stars Shine Bright – Mockingbird’s NEW Community Giving Campaign!
As we enter a new school year, we’d like to introduce Stars Shine Bright, the PTA’s new community giving drive. This all-in-one donation drive is the simplest and easiest way for families, friends, and supporters to help fund the experiences, resources, and opportunities that make our school shine.
In recent years, we’ve been fortunate to operate with a surplus of funds that we’ve managed with care to enrich classrooms, support teachers, and improve our campus. However, as our needs grow and that surplus fades, Stars Shine Bright will help sustain the programs that define Mockingbird.
Your donation to Stars Shine Bright supports so much of what makes Mockingbird special, including:
- Supplemental Curriculum and Enrichment Activities
- Mockingbird’s Peace Pantry
- Field Trips and Hands-on Learning Experiences
- Campus Improvements and Beautification
- Teacher Mini Grants and Classroom Resources
- Student and Staff All School Spirit Shirt
- Passport Week, Teacher Appreciation and so much more!
Our goal this year is 100% participation because when every star contributes, our whole school shines BRIGHTER. No gift is too small, and every dollar makes a difference!
As a reminder, Mockingbird Elementary PTA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and many employers offer matching gift programs; which means your donation could be doubled (or even tripled!) at no extra cost to you. Don’t forget to check with your company and submit your gift for matching to make an even bigger impact for our students!
